ABOUT US
District 12 CPT is housed at the Children's Advocacy Center of Volusia
and Flagler counties. This is a full service center providing forensic
interviews, medical examinations, multi-disciplinary staffings, and counseling.
We are a charter member of the National Network of Children's Advocacy
Centers and
a member of the Florida Network of Advocacy Centers.

PROGRAMS
Other Programs under the umbrella of our advocacy center include, Outpatient
Mental Health and Peri-natal Support Services. Outpatient provides counseling
for child victims of abuse as well as their families. Darlene Stewart
serves as Clinical Director. Peri-natal Support is a home visitation program
who works with new mothers and their children to prevent abuse.
TRAINING
The Children's Advocacy Center offers a training program for the community
known as the 2nd Tuesday Series. The second Tuesday morning of
each month we provide training by a child abuse professional - varied
field. March 9th session will be Special Agent Terry Thomas of FDLC. Registration
is 8:00 AM with presentation time being 8:30AM - 4:30PM at Daytona Beach
Community College, the fee is $20.00. For more information on this or
