ABOUT US
The Children's Crisis Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation
formed for purposes of advancement of charity and education in the field
of child abuse an neglect. The center provides services for the assessment
of abused and neglected children and their families. The Center sponsors
programs in PREVENTION, to serve those families at risk for abuse and
neglect; INTERVENTION, when abuse or neglect has occurred and TREATMENT,
for victims of abuse and neglect and their families. Programs of the Children's
Crisis Center, Inc. are funded by contracts from the State of Florida
Department of Health, State of Florida Attorney General's Office, Florida
Crimes Compensation, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, United Way,
City of Jacksonville Jacksonville Children's Commission, Monique Burr
Foundation of Children, National Children's Alliance, other foundations,
grants and community donations. Services are provided without regard to
race, creed, color, national origin at economic status. [ Top

MISSION
Children's Crisis Center, Inc. is a committed team of professionals and
volunteers whose mission is to prevent all forms of child abuse through
education, intervention, treatment, support and advocacy, ensuring that
every child has the opportunity to grow in a nurturing home and community.

DIRECTIONS
From Gainesville:
East on I-10 to Interstate 95-North, exit on 8th Street. Turn Left on
Jefferson Street and continue to the end of street, left on 11th Street
one block to the right side.
From St. Augustine:
North on Interstate 95, exit on 8th Street. Turn Left on Jefferson Street
and continue to end of street, left on 11th Street one block to the right
side.
From Jacksonville:
Intl. Airport: South on Interstate 95 for 15 miles. Exit on 8th Street
and make a left turn. Go East on 8th Street. Turn Left on Jefferson Street
and continue to end of street, then left on 11th Street one block to the
right side. Travel time: approx. 20 min.
